Help The A Team beat Cancer!

3 weeks ago Andy was admitted to hospital with suspected appendicitis, but sadly to find out he has bowel cancer which had already spread to his liver.

Andy (32) is the loving partner of Laura (24), devoted father of Jackson (5) and Eden (2) and the sole income earner for their family.

Since finding out, Andy has already had half of his bowel removed along with what cancer they could get but today (07/05/19) was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer known as neuroendocrine carcinoma of the caecum. This is a small cell cancer where the origin was the bowel and has moved to the liver. Transplant is not viable as the cancer is too aggressive.

Andy will start an aggressive Chemo tomorrow (08/05/19) and will be doing two 21 day cycles before he can be checked again.
Including treatments that are very costly, the family will be doing a lot of travelling to and from appointments and pick ups between their children.

Both of their extended families live in NZ.

This is anyone’s worst nightmare but sadly for my friends it has become their reality.
