Help our sister Terry take her life back from Lyme

Terry Martin Laviolette is a 52-year-old loving wife and mother of two, suffering from Chronic Late-Stage Neurological Lyme Disease.

We (Terry's family) are requesting financial assistance for Terry to travel for a 3-week intensive  Hyperthermia treatment at Klinik St. Georg in Germany. This life-changing, breakthrough treatment is not yet available in the U.S.

Terry has been sick since 2012 and has been working with an excellent team of doctors and specialists. She has fought her heart out against this sinister disease, however, after years of trying and endless attempts, she has not been able to reach remission.  

Klinik St. Georg has reserved a spot for Terry’s treatment.  All funds raised here will go toward the treatments, recovery, supplements and travel expenses.  We feel blessed that a Lyme foundation has awarded Terry a grant to help pay for a portion of this treatment, however, the costs are still daunting.  We humbly ask you to consider a donation.

Before her diagnosis, Terry worked as a hospice nurse offering her care and compassion to so many patients and families. She was also very active with family and friends, and volunteer activities, including Cursillo.  As Lyme is an illness that doesn't always show itself outwardly, she may appear well to others but is constantly battling her symptoms.

Her quality of life has significantly deteriorated to the point where she:
- is unable to work
- struggles with cognitive issues
- has chronic pain and tremors
- developed cardiac issues
- often lacks the energy she needs to even get up in the morning.

Terry desperately wants to get back to the activities she loves - to lead her life on her terms - and be rid of this disease once and for all! Once healthy, Terry looks forward to helping others struggling with Lyme.

- Two week treatment - €17,500 (approx. $20,000)
- Third week of treatment (if necessary) - €6,500 (approx. $7,500)
- Shuttle to and from clinic - €200 (approx. $225)
- Terry's flight - $1,000
- After-care protocol - $3,000
- Travel companion - $2,700
