On Saturday night, November 9th, my wife Sara had a major heart attack. She was rushed to the hospital where she underwent emergency catherization and two arteries were treated.
It is currently unclear how long she will be out of work. Sara works 2 part-time jobs so going back part-time is not really feasable. She does not have any sick time left for the year and does not receive benefits from work as she is only part-time at both her jobs. Her insurance is though the State's Connector Care. So right now we are not sure how much the co-pays for medication and the Cardiac Rehab will be.
I am unable to work, as I am disabled. Sara is the sole income provider for our family.
We will gratefully use the funds for increased medical costs, like copays for more doctors visits. Also for the increased precripction medications. Also, to help with increased food costs as we will need to buy different types of food now. And since we are unsure of the time of of work. We will use the funds for general bill paying and home upkeep. We have two wonderful kitties that we love dearly and are the joy in our lives.
