Marie Parker has been fighting cancer for many years now, but on December 8th just a few weeks before Christmas, Marie called her son Jason and told him that there wasn't much time left. Jason and his newly married wife Natasha jumped on the first plane out to see his mom.
After a visit to the ER it had been discovered that Marie has multiple non operable cancerous blockages in her intestine/colon. Because of this she is unable to process solid foods. Following this discovery she was admitted to the hospital and a week later sent home under hospice care along with her son and daughter-in-law to take care of her in their family home.
Marie is such a loving and wonderful spirit whom always sees the positive in life and the people around her. She is often describes as the sweetest person from those closest to her and never has a bad thing to say about anyone.
Marie and her family are asking for some help during this trying time. With leaving their home and flying almost 2,600 miles to be with and take care of their mother, Jason and Natasha have sustained a huge financial burden. Jason has had to take family leave in order to care full time for his mother and Natasha has become the sole provider for the family. They are praying for help in any way possible. Between the cost of medical bills, medications, rent, money for food, and the cost of last minute plane tickets, it has started to really add up for this newly developed family. There is no donation that is too small.
