Kids for Creatures is an organization started by my 6 year old son, Ravi, and me, his mom, Sarah.
Ravi has had a great passion for marine biology for as long as I can remember. While watching a documentary about the coral reefs, he discovered that they were dying at such a quick rate that they may be gone by the time he's old enough to explore them. He was heartbroken.
Once he realized the devastation humans are having on nature he decided to spend his recess time cleaning up the land around his school. Soon his friends began to help him.
I was proud of his new desire to help the environment so I searched for programs he could work worth to help make a bigger impact. While we found great organizations that do so much for the environment and the creature world, we didn't find anything dedicated to helping children make an impact. So we created our own.
Any donation is appreciated and 100% of the funds will go towards getting the program up and running.
Kids of Creatures will organize and run opportunities for kids to help make positive changes in their communities. Some of the events we will facilitate include beach clean ups, nature hikes with litter collection, volunteering at local animal sanctuaries and more.
