Balos is my one & a half year old male Persian cat.

He suddenly went blind one evening. I realized this after I found him sitting in the same spot unmoved, staring at the wall, hours later.

I promptly took him to the vet & he suspected a brain infection. I was sent home with an antibiotic, CBD, & supplements. This vet bill was $250, basically all I had.

That evening he had a seizure so we were back at the vet the next day. He gave us an anti-inflammatory.

That night Balos had 6 very violent seizures in 12 hours before I could get back into the vet that following day. He was even another antibiotic & more CBD to help control the seizures. He had a number of tests run on him & it helped eliminate allergies, etc. This visit cost us $500.. which I didn't have. Luckily the vet was kind enough to give me a payment plan

It's will take a few weeks to see if this is a virus or infection, depending if the antibotics work. He has a recheck on the 19th (just to see the vet is $50) & I've already had to get more CBD (smallest bottle is $30 & goes fast) We tried to wean him down on it but he has another seizure so I have to keep up my dosage I was giving him.

He has a 99% chance at recovering. He's so young to be this sick, I want to do everything I can to get him healthy again.

I'm currently on a leave of absence from work as my father passed away from cancer in June. This strikes home as he had a seizure from a tumor in his head bleeding & he never woke up from it. He was gone is less than 24 hrs.
