Help Support Baby Dalston's family

Donation protected
As some of you may know, Brittany and Steven found out in February that they were expecting a child. At their 18 week sonogram they received news that NO parent wants to hear, Baby Dalston was diagnosed with Diaphragmatic Hernia (A birth defect in which there is an abnormal opening in the diaphragm. The diaphragm is the muscle between the chest and abdomen that helps you breathe. The opening allows part of the organs from the belly to move into the chest cavity near the lungs.) and Dalston would only have one kidney. As weeks past they seen multiple doctors in Greensboro and Winston Salem who informed Brittany and Steven Dalston would have to have several different surgeries to move his organs back in the right spot. They gave baby Dalston a 70% chance to live after birth. Monday September 24th, Brittany went to her regular doctor appointment to check on Dalston, her blood pressure was high and Dalston's heart rate was dropping. They decided to transfer her to Brenners Children's Hospital in Winston Salem to induce her. Baby Dalston was born Tuesday September 25th at 7:55am. The doctors rushed Dalston out of the delivery room, straight to the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit), where he will be for approximately 3-4 months. Dalston is stable and is scheduled for his first surgery September 27 to close the hernia. Brittany and Steven will be traveling back and forth from Seagrove to Winston Salem in separate vehicles due to Steven working in and out of town and Brittany caring for their other two children. They will need all the help they can get with traveling expenses, food during the visits at the hospital, and other expenses due to Brittany being out of work and Steven taking time off work to be with Dalston during the surgeries. During this time we know their need and the struggles they will be facing within the next several months. We would greatly appreciate any donations to provide financial support for this beautiful family, please PRAY and share. Thank you!
