Help street dogs find forever homes

One day in a small town called Bundi we came across a puppy on the brink of death. She was covered in mange, malnourished and could hardly move. We decided to help and took her to the vets to get medicine, before travelling with her through India for three weeks and growing to love her and her bubbly personality. 

We knew we had to leave the country, and neither of us to take her with us.  We tried contacting every animal rescue in India but no one would take in a puppy. That's when Kannan Animal Welfare, a non-profit organisation in Delhi, stepped up to help when no one else would.

They took her in, got her healthy and ready to travel and flew her to America where she is now with her new family in a forever home. It broke our hearts to say goodbye to her, but the kindness of Vandana and her incredible group of volunteers was amazing and we want to give back, to help them help as many of these pups as possible.
