My name is Stevi and I am a trans woman living in Georgia. I have been on estrogen and a testosterone blocker since May 2018. I have suffered from gender dysphoria for most of my life. Prior to starting my hormones, I had serious issues with keeping jobs, forming relationships, and general day to day functioning. I am now in a better place, with my mind and body changing so I can live as a woman.
I am ready for the next step in my treatment. That is where you come in. I am asking for money to partially fund my bottom surgery, which I will schedule as soon as I can afford it. Family and friends are helping some, and I do have a full time job, but my living expenses are high and I need an extra boost.
I am having an orchiectomy, not full gender reassignment surgery, and the surgeon I will be using charges around 3000 USD. If you can subsidize this part of my trip, you will have a permanent positive impact on my quality of life.
Trans women face serious struggles, Many of us deal with depression and other psych issues, as well as being estranged from family and turned down for jobs and housing.
