Help steve say goodbye to his dad

Only just having celebrated his dad's 80th in perth a week ago steve has found himself in the situation where his dad has passed & he doesn't have the funds to get himself back there (especially when flights are stoopid expensive around xmas).
His job is also casual but he can suck up the loss of wages, he just wants to be there for his family and make the arrangements that need to happen.
He still is at the stage he doesn't know what is going on but if any of you can throw a few bucks his way to help get him there it would be amazing.
You have all been so incredible in showing him love & support in the last (not even) 24 hrs.
I know he would never ask for such a thing and i know it's xmas so everyone is feeling short on cash but it would really mean the world to us both that we could get just him there.
Anything over the target gets him there sooner. Flights tomorrow are $1k.
& let's him stay longer with his family.
