Hello, and thanks for visiting our GoFundMe page! The Spirit of Sunnyvale Marching Band/SoundSport Team is an award-winning organization, based in Sunnyvale, CA. We are an all-age, independent group that participates in local parade and events, as well as SoundSport virtual events. "Spirit" started in 1980 as the Spirit of Sunnyvale Marching Youth Band, and competed against other youth bands and drum corps until 1997. In 2010, the band reformed as the Spirit of Sunnyvale Marching Band, and in 2016 started participating in SoundSport as well.
The money raised through this GoFundMe campaign will be used to help pay for the following:
- General Liability Insurance ($1250)
- Rehearsal Facilities ($500)
- Additional cost, such as uniforms ($250)
These are all yearly expenses, and we would be so thankful for anything you can contribute to meet those goals!
