Help Simone Heal from Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer

Simone is my beautiful sister and is the most amazing mom, an incredibly loved wife and a dear friend to so many. Simone is also well known in her community for the herbal tea business that she created, Ancestar Teas, which has inspired so many people with her passion to share her knowledge about health, body, mind and spirit.
Simone is only 46 and has always been a vibrant leader in living life holistically and truthfully; it seems so unfair that she now has to face a sudden diagnosis of Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer. Simone discovered a mass cyst in her pelvic region in September, 2018 and was scheduled for investigative surgery December 13th. Unfortunately, 10 days before the scheduled surgery the mass ruptured and the cancer cells metastasized to her lungs.
With complications due to the pleural effusion to her lungs (cancer spreading), surgery was no longer an option at this time, so Simone decided to take a few weeks to strengthen her immune system and begin to heal the cancer at a clinic in Tijuana Mexico, specializing in integrative treatments. This is a very aggressive form of cancer that is often not responsive to standard chemo. All options for treatment are on the table to help Simone return back to health.
Yesterday Simone suffered a ‘minor’ stroke which is further complicating her treatment, but Simone is still strong inside, always a rock for those around her. She is determined to heal from this. Her love of life and her family is immeasurable and her will to live for brighter days ahead is what she is focused on. Simone has expressed to me that her dream is to overcome this and use all she has learned to help others heal from such a grim diagnosis. But right now, she needs our help and support.
Simone is in need of constant care and support from Francois right now. Her situation is not currently stable and time is of the essence to get Simone on track to health. This is a very aggressive form of cancer and with support from the community, funds will be used to pay regular living expenses and also to fund any and all treatments that are available to overcome the cancer and return back to a health. Simone and Francois’ children, Sojourn and Imaji are doing their best to be brave and help anyway they can.
