Help Silas stay safe!

Silas is my grandson. I had to take him out of my daughter's care due to her neglect of the baby. He was seven months old, over weight due to overfeeding to keep him quiet, his head was flat in the back from laying all the time, and his gross motor skills were very behind.

When I picked him up off the street from my daughter, she only handed me a carseat, and a small grocery bag of clothes that were too small.  I offered to bring her home also to get her back on her feet. Unfortunately, my daughter has been involved in the sex industry for many years. It is truly a horrible life.

I have raised this child and rehabilitated him to the happy kid he is today. From getting him current on his shots to enrolling him in preschool, we have been together every step of the way. There has been very little interaction with his mother, although I have always left the door open for her.

Fast forward to today... Silas is now almost 4 and about to start "big kid school" this year.  My daughter has been with a man for a little over a year and has had another baby. She has broken up with man a couple times over this year yet claims she is stable. If they were to break up She would have nothing all over again. Not even her new baby. As per her usual she has hooked up with someone who she thinks is perfect, trapped him into the relationship (her words on FB) with a baby, and now wants Silas back. She is still in the sex industry and still does drugs. The only difference this time is she actually filed for custody.

In a pro-mom court system, I need to hire an attorney to improve my chances of keeping him in my care where he is safe. I am asking for $5000 because that is the retainer for the attorney. 

Please help me keep this baby safe. If he goes back he will be placed in a home where the mother works night's at a strip club, goes out drinking frequently, and sleeps all day. If he stays here, he will stay in the only home he has ever known, be able to keep his friendships he's had since he was 10 months old, and keep the only parent he has had.
