It's been a long, world-crossing journey for Serena over the past several years, and 2018 has added a constant quest for a stable living situation to her quest for health.
She has recently begun a new (prayerfully final!) step of her healing process with DNRS (a brain rewiring program that both her doctor and experienced friends have recommended). A key element to calming her fight-or-flight-mode state and encouraging healing is being in a place her body feels is safe (where there are minimum non-life-threatening stimuli like toxins, VOCs, etc. that her body currently interprets as dangerous and reacts accordingly to) over the next few months as she continues with the program. A stable environment is vital for her brain state to be most conducive to healing, and she thankfully has found that place in Alberta, Canada. But it is unfortunately quite expensive and, due to her illness, she is currently unable to reliably support herself--which is where we, the friends of Serena, come in! :)
This is our chance to support Serena in this huge step to healing! Any amount contributed would be hugely appreciated and will help with the costs of her daily and monthly living expenses.
