My name is Valentina Marentes and I am 17 years old singer from Veracruz, Mexico. This winter I auditioned to A cappella Academy and I was recently notified that I got in!
I’ll take part in this intensive course in Los Angeles, California with other 70 incredible singers from around the world. I am deeply grateful and excited!

I have sung for as long as I can remember. I live in a small city called Xalapa full of traditional and jazz music. Thus, I started to sing jazz since I was 8 years old.
At school of music I met many other amazing singers and recently I founded a cappella group with three of them and discovered that I love vocal music. That is why I decided to audition this year for ACA!

I’ve been looking forward to be in this camp for the tremendous respect I have for the teachers and all the people who has went, and the experience of learning of them. This is surreal for me.
Tuition is $1995 USD (plus fees, not including plane tickets). I also have to pay my passport and visa since I’ve never left my country. Unfortunately, my family doesn’t have the funds to pay this amount.
But with YOUR HELP I can make this dream possible!
