North Cobb-Harrison NJROTC Drill Team Competing at Navy Nationals for the 2nd Year Straight
This year has been phenomenal for our Drill Team. After competing in three competitions this year, we placed 1st overall in two of them and 2nd at the other, qualifying them for the Area-12 (regional) Championship. The Area-12 Championship was hosted by Coffee High School in Douglas, GA Saturday 2 March. After competing against some of the toughest high schools in Area-12, the team successfully placed in the top 3 at the regional level, qualifying us to compete at the Navy Nationals Drill, Athletic and Academic Championship for the second year straight!!!
Once again, we need your help to get us to the National Championship! We are excited to officially represent Area-12 as part of the 24 teams competing nationally at Navy Nationals, but we face financial challenges and we need your help!
The competition will be conducted at NAS Pensacola, Florida from 5 – 6 April 2019, which does not leave us a lot of time. Your help would be key in solving this challenge. Each Cadet is expected to raise/pay the estimated cost of$250 per Cadet which includes transportation, food and lodging.
Would you partner with us by donating a minimum of $20 towards our goal? Any amount would be greatly appreciated. Your donation is tax deductible through the NCHS-HHS NJROTC Booster Club.
If you are donating in the name of a specific Cadet, please add the Cadets name in the “comments” section so they will get credit.
