Hello! My name is Luke Ogea and I am a junior at Marquette Senior High School in Marquette, Michigan. I am honored to have been accepted to Interlochen Arts Academy for my senior year in their Singer/Songwriter Program. Interlochen, located in Traverse City, Michigan, is one of the most prestigious fine arts boarding high schools. Attending Interlochen will allow me to receive world class instruction alongside gifted and motivated young artists from all over the world.
Although I've had many wonderful experiences as a student athlete, music has been the most influential aspect in my life. From a young age, my Dad gave me and my brothers music lessons on piano, drums, and guitar. For the past two years I have been entertaining at local venues, weddings, and private parties. Singing allows me to connect with people, make new friends, and provides a way to express my feelings and emotions.
Being accepted into Interlochen is the greatest opportunity of my life. Please consider making a donation allowing me to pursue my dreams and goal of a career in the world of music and entertainment.
