Speed Skater Brett Perry

My name is Brett Perry, I am from Midland, Michigan and I just made my very first International World Cup Speed Skating Team! I qualified to race the 500 meter in Obihiro and Tomakomai Japan, Tomaszow Mazowiecki, Poland, and Heerenveen, Netherlands. Unfortunately, I was unable to obtain the US Speed Skating funding time standard for the first 4 world cups by .3 seconds. I can not afford to go to Japan this World Cup season but I am asking for your help to finance my trip to Europe to skate in World Cups 3 & 4 in Poland and The Netherlands. The schedule, cost, and itinerary have been determined.This will include airfare, ground travel, living accommodations and food. In order for me to participate, I need to self/fund my way to these competitions to represent my country. I am also under a fairly tight window to obtain these funds. I thank those people who have already donated to my skating development. This offers an opportunity to help me directly put my skates on the ice and compete for you on a World stage.


I have worked extremely hard in this off-season to reach my physical goals and I have proven in our World Cup trials that I am well on my way to being competitive on the World stage. Your donation, large or small will help me to realize my potential and my dreams.
