Help Save Sloan the Rescue Cat!

Sloan is a rescue cat that my good friend Karen Stevens gave a home to along with his brother Fletcher in 2014. He came from the Cats Protection League and is nearly 7 years old. He is gorgous and he is loved and he is also very very poorly.
He has been attacked by another cat leaving him with an abscess thats become infected around his larynx / trachea and oesophagus. The infection has caused necrotic tissue around his wound and is or could affect his breathing and swallowing. He needs to see a specialist soft tissue vet. He is insured but this kind of treatment would take him over his insurance limit. if they leave him as he is, he will die.
Anyone who knows Karen knows what a loving and generous friend she is. She would never ask but if we all could chip in to help with this cost so she can have a shot at saving Sloan, I would hope we would help.
Any funds raised that wont be used to help Sloan will go back to the Cats Protection League.
