Help save my daughter's dog
Donation protected
My daughter's dog Trash who is an American Staffordshire ingested a corn cob that was thrown out by our neighbor. He stopped eating and drinking this past Saturday. We took him to the vet Monday morning where they did xrays and discovered along with the corn cob a large mass which when they opened him up ended up being his spleen bleeding and full of debris. They don't think it's cancer but are evaluating it to be safe. Savannah laid with him on the floor and covered him with her blanket until we got him to the vet. We love all our dogs but this one holds a special place..especially with vanna. We have some of the $ but wasn't,expecting an $ 1100 vet bill. We can't bring, him home until it's,paid in full. NC law permits vets to have the choice after 10 days to file an abandonment charge against us and either adopt him out or euthanize him. Because of his age (9) and his breed we feel the later would happen. Like us we know that it's hard times for alot of people. Any donation will help and sincerely be appreciated. I'm not big on asking for help but we have no choice. We promise to pay it forward down the road...love you all and heartfelt thanks just for reading and sharing
