UPDATE:Help save Landon's life-He's been given 6mo

Donation protected
UPDATE:
The past 5 months have been very trying for Landon and his family. Upon receiving donations, Landon and his family were able to help pay for Landon’s living expenses, medical expenses, and help provide for his daughter, Hadyn.  Landon was also given the opportunity to use some of his donation money to spend on items for entertainment and comfort in these times of hardship. Landon and his family would like to thank you all from the bottom of their hearts for the generosity, love, and support you have shown them.
After reaching out to hospitals around the country, the family was unfortunately turned away as no one seemed to have answers for Landon. He was put on a device called “Optune” that is worn on his head 24/7 to administer treatment via electric waves to the tumor sites. He continued both chemotherapy and radiation throughout this time, with radiation ending in late October due to complications with swelling. In the past few months Landon has begun to lose his vision, now being fully blind in his right eye, with very little partial vision left in his left eye at this time. With the progression of his vision loss happening rapidly within just a week, Landon was scheduled for an MRI on February 2nd to take a look at tumor progression. Landon’s tumor has unfortunately grown exponentially in the past 3 weeks.
This morning, February 6th, Landon experienced a seizure and is currently staying in the hospital. Landon’s family will be meeting with Hospice tomorrow morning and will be making arrangements to keep Landon comfortable in the days and hopefully weeks to come. The family has taken off from work to spend this time they have left with Landon. As you can imagine the grief and hardship this family is going through right now is immense. Financial help is now needed to help supplement the family in this time off from work so that they can spend their final moments with Landon. Any remaining donations will be used for Landon’s accommodations after his passing.
Again, there are not enough “thanks” in the world for all the help and support that has been received from friends, family, and the community.

UPDATE:
Landon's doctors have given him 6 MONTHS to live.

I would like to start this by thanking everyone for all the love and support that you have shown Landon through this past year.

The money that Landon received helped him so much!  He was able to stay in his home, and pay his medical bills, which included his many medications.  Landon was able to have the help he needed until his disability kicked in to support himself and his daughter.

Landon has had a very tough year.  After his surgery last September, he had many complications.  He was in ICU for a week, then stayed an additional 2 weeks in the hospital before he was able to come home.  After returning home he had two 911 calls.  He had a fluid leak from his brain.  After the third 911 call, they discovered that Landon had a horrible brain infection.  He was rushed via ambulance from Fort Collins to Denver for surgery where the doctors had to wash the infection out.  This put Landon back in the hospital for an additional 3 weeks.  When Landon finally was able to be home he was on a continuous IV drip antibiotic for 18 weeks.  This caused him to be majorly past due starting his chemotherapy treatment due to the heavy duty antibiotics he was on.  After 17 weeks of constant nausea and vomiting, the doctors realized from blood test that the medication was actually making Landon more sick.  They finally changed his antibiotics on the last week of the prescribed 18.  This took a horrible toll on Landon’s body and spirits.  The doctor’s wanted to hold off on chemotherapy, until Landon’s body had healed to allow his body to get stronger.  This set Landon back 6 months.

When Landon was able to start his treatment in March 2019.  They did an MRI to have a starting point.   Once again, bad news.  It showed that Landon had 3 new tumors.  We were in such disbelief.  The surgery was good.  They had gotten all the tumor.  We thought Landon would be fine.

They decided to go aggressive with two types of medications.  Avastin was given to him through an IV port and Temador was given as an oral medication, both of which made him sick, and very light sensitive.  After taking this for 3 months the MRI scan showed shrinkage.  We were elated!   So, it was decided he would be continuing with this regiment.

Now for the sad news.....

On August 30, 2019 Landon had a doctors visit.  We had gone in totally expecting to hear great news.  After all, Landon’s visit in June showed that the treatment was shrinking his tumors.  But NOT this time.  Landon was informed that not only had his tumors not shrunk, but they had doubled in size.  His cancer has been upgraded to a GLOBLASTOMA STAGE 4.  The doctor continued by telling Landon that if some kind of treatment did not work, he would only have 6 months to live.  6 MONTHS.  It’s surreal, it’s like a dream, but you don’t get to wake up to find out differently.

We are all SHOCKED and DEVASTATED!  We are in search of second, perhaps third, opinions and time is not on Landon’s side.  Landon’s family has been doing a lot of research on possibilities.  We will not give up hope!  The reality is Landon is going to need help. Lots of help.  He will need a special diet and supplements that are not cheap.  He is going to need help getting to and from appointments.  There will be travel involved.  We are planning to see doctor’s in Denver, but hope to also see doctor’s at Duke University in North Carolina and/or MD Anderson in Houston, TX if at all possible.  With the help of his family, friends, and generous donors we hope to make it possible.

We are asking for you help.  Be it big or small anything will help.  Landon has his precious baby girl, Hadyn, who is only 6 years old.  HADYN NEEDS HER DADDY!!

It takes a village.  If everyone can please find it in your hearts to donate, Landon and his family will be forever grateful!
