Jace's Story
Jace is a happy and loving typical 4 year old, dispite what he has been through this past year. As we all know minors can't always defend or speak for themselves.
Therefore as his father, I have decided to start this campaign in order to share his story and prevent any further abuse. Sadly, he was involved in an abuse and neglect case in the home he was living in with his mother and her boyfriend. Due to not haveing any parental agreements set in place yet, after regaining custody she has not allowed me to see Jace. This also makes me fear for his safety because of the severity of the past abuse and also makes this a much more of a urgent matter.
During this time I was appointed a public defender becuase of my finace situation. Also during this time Jace was put under the custody of the state. I believe that due to the lack of agressive representation, this is the reason he is now back in the same home where this situation could quite possibly repeat itself.
How You Can Help
In order to recieve a proper aggressive representation I would need to come up with a retainer at the very least. From talking with multiple lawyers, these retainers are around $3,000. Unfortunately, I've been told that is just the beginning of the battle. I have been able to save a few hundred and have also looked into other legal representation that is available to me. They have still recommended an aggressive legal representation for this case.
I'm not only asking for finacial assistance with this issue. I am here to seek thoughts, prayers, support, and any and all advice that you may have in order for me to help keep my son as safe as possible.
Even if you are unable to donate to Jace's campaign, I ask that you please share this with all your family and friends. Social media seems to be a very easy way to share this. The more people that read Jace's story, will bring more opportunities to help him.
