Hi, I'm Honey,
I was rescued by the RSPCA 4 weeks ago from years of living in horrible conditions and not being cared for properly. I was really looking forward to starting my new life but things took a turn for the worst.
I've not had much contact with humans and never really been outside but I found a lovely foster home where I really started to settle and enjoy life. My new foster family didn't know how poorly I am until I started having seizures and the vets told them there was something wrong with my brain. They think I have had a stroke, meningitis or swelling on the brain. I need an MRI scan for a proper diagnosis and to start the right treatment.
Because the rspca branch is an independent charity (separate from the national rspca) and they have to care for so many animals, they just don't have the funds to pay for these treatments.
So, my new mom has decided to try and raise the funds on here. She knows that I don't have much time before it's too late and is desperate to make me better and give me the fresh start she says I deserve.
