Help Save Essentialz Market!

I hope you’ve heard that Essentialz, our zero-waste grocery store is due to open on McKinney’s historic square in a few weeks.

Until 15 minutes ago, I believed with all my heart this was meant to be. The reality is, due to the building’s age, unexpected construction costs, and permitting uncertainty, the status of completion has gone back and forth no less than 10 times.

After months... years really... of time, dedication and effort, we finally thought we got through the last hoop successfully. I was picking up the permit this afternoon.

And, wham! It turns out I didn’t make it through that last hoop after all.

We are short $30,000.00

I am humbling myself, this project is worth it.

Can you or anyone you know carry us over the finish line? It can be any amount, in any form... a loan, a gift, an investment in our company...

I have 3-4 hours to determine if we can raise these funds. If I can get enough commitments this afternoon, we can work out the details over the next week.
