My name is Ryanne. I've been accepted into The Circus Project 's "Elements" Training Program. This is a 9 month intensive training program that offers up to 20hrs per week of classes, private lessons, and workshops all focused on circus arts. I've created the videos and essays and now just need to money to make this dream my reality. This is a HUGE leap in the direction of where I want my life to continue. I am both terrified and thrilled to begin this journey and am asking for your help in making it happen.
Goals & Dates: The training program is $4150 for the full 9 months. Half ($2,075) of which is due by August 15th, 2017 and the other half on January 1st, 2018. I've been accepted into a work study program that cost the cost by a significant amount. I am also working on talking through options for payment plans.
I've increased the overall fundraising goal to assist with relocating and travelling costs as well as help with additional workshops and guest events on the schedule. The program beings on Sept. 5th.
Why should you give me your money? Performing is my passion, my happiness, my escape, my life. I started dance at 5 years old, theater at 8, and aerial at 16. Elements is a program that not only offers full, intensive training in aerial arts, but all circus and performing arts. I have been offered an opportunity to grow my artistic expression and my creative flow. I applied to this program at the beginning of June with no expectations of it becoming a reality and have received word that I am in! (Is this real life?!?!)
I have never lived outside of the Central Coast, let alone California. This opportunity is one that came fast and hard. This is a dream come true and the thought of not being able to attend due to finances breaks my heart. This is why I need your help.
One of the main reasons why I was so attracted to moving my training to The Circus Project in Portland was that they offer one of the only training programs for homeless youth within area. I love that the next place I am going to call Home, cares so deeply about their community and I cannot wait to become a part of it. (Not the homeless part though, that's what you are helping with ;) ).
I cannot express how much your support has meant and will continue to mean to me throughout this performance journey of mine. I only hope to continue to improve and make you proud.
