Help the residents of Bellerby after the floods

Bellerby Flood
On Tuesday the 30th July 2019 the village of Bellerby in the North Yorkshire Dales was devastated when a flash flood washed through the village leaving a trail of destruction.
The clean up has begun with the community pulling together to help those worst affected. Local businesses and organisations have been wonderful in their support with donations of food and clothes to cover the immediate aftermath and promises of materials to help repair the infrastructure.
Some people have had to move out of their homes having lost everything. Neighbours are housing neighbours and doing anything they can to ease the burden on those in need. The kindness of the local people has been overwhelming.
I am the Parish Clerk of Bellerby and thankfully was not flooded. I have started this page on behalf of the residents of the village and the money raised will be given to Bellerby Parish Council for them to help those most badly affected by the flood with their urgent needs and to repair our village.
It is hard to estimate the cost of what has happened or what will be needed for the ongoing repairs to our community.
Please help us raise money to help the residents of Bellerby rebuild the village they love.
