Help replace our stolen equipment

Tax deductible
Last Thursday the 20th of September during the early hours of the morning Somerset Rural Youth Project in Edington, a youth work CHARITY, was broken into.

They broke in and ransacked the place.  Desks and filing cabinets crow barred open and badly damaged.  Windows were smashed, doors kicked in and significant damage done to the building itself.

Every room in the Unit was left overturned.  We're all left shocked and disappointed that someone would steal from valued youth services in Somerset.

We have an Iveco Van which has had its catalytic converter stolen, meaning that we have no vehicle for our mobile youth work.  Therefore, our popular mobile youth club is currently out of action.

Power tools, batteries, saws, socket sets, air impact tools, leisure batteries and other equipment and tools have also been stolen. These are used in our wood workshop and mechanics workshops, which is now also out of action.  This is temporarily preventing us from teaching young people with additional needs valuable skills to prepare them for employment.

Donations of money or equipment to our valuable charity will be much appreciated, so that we can get these popular Youth Services back up and running for our young people in Somerset.

If anybody also has any information on what has happened, then please also let us know.

We would also advise you to report it to 101 using the Crime Reference Number 5218211109.
