Help Rebuild Barbuda (Booyard)
Donation protected
For all of those not aware, On the 5/6th September 2017 my country of birth, Antigua and Barbuda was hit by Category 5+ Hurricane Irma. Antigua fared much better than Barbuda which was in the eye of the storm and was subjected to 185mph winds.
- 90% of infrastructure/homes on the island are damaged - 70% beyond repair, including critical services like telecommunication, water and electricity.
- Holy Trinity Primary School was destroyed and Sir McChesney George Secondary School is very damaged
- Many of my family and friends are homeless now and parts of the island are underwater.
- Pets and Livestocks are roaming the island without their owners to feed them and look after them.
I am hoping to return home to Barbuda as soon as possible and help with the cleanup/rebuild effort, as well as the distribution of the money that I will hopefully raise for Barbudans. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated, no matter how big or small.
I will ensure the support reach those who need it most. I will keep a record of every penny donated and where it was spent.
