Help raise money for Violet and her family

On Monday November 19th beautiful baby Violet was welcomed into this world. Following Violets birth her mummy Amber felt like something wasn’t quite right with her. Shortly after this baby Violet became very seriously unwell. After being transferred from the local neonatal unit to a more specialist neonatal unit, which is 120 miles away from their home, she has since been diagnosed with necrotising enterocolitis. Necrotising enterocolitis is a serious illness where the tissues in the gut become inflamed and start to die. Many babies can be treated by having their bowels rested and receiving medication and food intravenously however this is unfortunately not the case for Violet.
Violet has already undergone surgery and there is a small chance she may have to undergo further surgeries to help her recover due to her having a rare case of this illness where she had no bloody supply to her colon and has a bowel the size of a premature baby. Violet condition at the moment is still concerning to the doctors and she is going to have a lengthy stay in hospital while she recovers. Violets Mummy and Daddy live 120 miles away from the specialist unit she is currently in and although they have accommodation for them to stay in Violet also has 4 other sisters, 1 grown up sister and 3 sisters that also need looking after with the youngest being just one (Her Birthday is next week).
I decided to do this go fund me page for Amber and Paul who is known by friends and family as Choc (Violets Mummy and Daddy) as currently they can’t go to work while she is unwell. This means on top of all the other worries of having a seriously unwell baby they have worries of finances too. I know that so close to Christmas everyone is on a budget for money but if people can just spare any money to help with the costs or travelling, food and the basics as violets Mummy Amber had to go the specialist Hospital in the clothes she was still in from giving birth. This money would mean that Violets Mummy and Daddy can continue to stay by her side whilst she is in hospital it would be hugely appreciated. Any money that is donated that is not used or needed will be going to NEC UK to carry on raising awareness and funding research into this illness.
Amber and Paul want to thank everyone for their support at what has and is continuing to be a very difficult time for them and their families and to everyone that has continued to help them with their other girls.
