Help raise funds for Minelle's 50th Birthday

Hi Everyone

I'm hoping that you can help me to raise money to organise the greatest 50th birthday Ever!! (PS.. My birthday is at the end of August).

Most people who know me know that I live with a chronic disease and use a walking frame to get around whenever I leave the house. 

I had a great career in the media before my health started to deteriorate.  There are a lot things that I want to do that I can't do anymore like run, skip, hop and jump.  I used to love to do these things as a kid.

I haven't really celebrated any milestones except my 21st birthday in Darwin in 1990.  Since then I have just seen my birthday as any other day but I just get older. 

But, this year I would really love to celebrate it.  I have been obsessed with Ru Paul's Drag Race and I love All Stars too.  I would love to have a Drag Themed party for my 50th, but I'm having trouble just raising the funds to put a down payment on the venue.  

I haven't even thought about outfits yet.  I would really love it my friends could contribute a small amount so I can reach my goal and put on the Best 50th Birthday Party Ever!!!

If you can donate, that would be amazing, even if it's only $5.  I'm hoping that I can raise $2000 to pay for the venue, my costume and make up, and a possible special guest appearance by someone from our Melbourne Aboriginal Drag community.  Please help me achieve my dream party.
