Help Quentin Beat This Cancer

This journey is uncharacteristic of anything I've ever encountered. As a God-fearing man I truly did not expect for cancer to intrude on my life. But now it has. I have been diagnosed with Anaplastic large cell lymphoma ALK NEGATIVE which is a blood cancer and very aggressive. The uniqueness of the lymphoma that I have been diagnosed with makes it even more challenging. Conventional chemotherapy only has a 20 to 30% chance of survival rate and as a result my only choice for treatment is limited to the use of alternative methods. Alternative treatments are very critical for my survival. Unfortunately, those alternative methods do not apply to Standard Insurance. I have been placed in a position of using other resources such as my retirement and any other personal savings or monetary resources that I have.
I have spent the last 25 years serving both the school system and the State of Ohio. During that time I've sacrificed a great deal of time and energy to my work, my colleagues and the friends I have made along the way. Over the years we have earned one another’s trust and confidence. However, for the first time in my life I am having to ask for my friends and family for help. This is quite a different position to be in because personal sacrifice and helping others out was always what others could expect of me. Many good people, friends and family have expressed to me that it's time for me to accept help from others.
My survival is costly. At this time I am unable to chew so I have to juice my food. The cost for food alone at this point is insurmountable.
On an Average my expenses are as follows:
1. Food --- $400.00 per week.
2. I also need supplements to survive. The medicinal supplements are $29.95 or higher to refill and at this point I take 60 different ones.
3. I have to go through acupuncture, which relieves my body from the trauma of going through the transitions I have to undergo.
4. Regular doctor’s visits to Washington, D.C. (for observation) and a local Dr. In Johnstown,Ohio
5. In case of an emergency, I have to be prepared to go to CHIPSA (3 week stay @ $33,427.17), which is a clinic that specializes in healing cancer aggressively in life or death situations. That treatment is in-house and last 3 weeks straight.
So at this time I am asking for your assistance in helping to eliminate this cancer through your generous contributions. All assistance is needed as quickly as possible. With your assistance and ultimately the power of God we can accomplish this goal of beating cancer together. Although this is a very strange time for me where each day I am battling changes in my body, experiencing a decrease in energy, and struggling to maintain mental focus through my healing process, this journey has taught me a lot about myself and how to endure and wait on God's power. My plan is to have a great testimony when this is done so that others may receive the very same blessing I will be receiving. I want you all to share in that success.
