Help Paul Fight Lymphoma

Donation protected
This is my step dad, Paul. A husband, father, stepfather, grandpa, uncle, and brother. A man that I have known since I was 11 years old. He has helped shape me into the person I am today and I am beyond thankful to have him as my stepdad.

Recently the smile and laughter that makes me love him so much has been dimmed by another diagnosis of the word we dread most, cancer. In 2013 Paul was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the mouth and throat. It was a grueling year of chemo and radiation, a feeding tube and IVs, pneumonia and a day to day battle to stay healthy. Paul came out strong and received a cancer free diagnosis. It’s been a joyful time with friends and family, enjoying every get together and holiday we can.

Paul has come so far but now the thing we fear most is back. At the end of February 2017, Paul was hospitalized for over a week and it was discovered that he now has Large B Cell Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. The same cancer my mother had just 9 years ago in which she underwent chemotherapy and radiation for. She has been in remission since 2009 and we are grateful for her health.

Unfortunately, cancer has been a part of our lives now for quite some time. Most families are shaken by one medical setback, and as my parents approach this for the third time within 10 years, you can imagine the financial strain this has had on them. The cost for treatment and medication alone is overwhelming but to add in the loss of income from work it can be a crippling time financially. That is why I have started this campaign to help off set some of the costs of medical bills, treatment, co-pays, and weekly doctor visits and relieve some of the financial burden that my parents are about to go through for the third time. My mom and step dad are not ones to ask for help, they are usually the ones giving to everyone else so I’m asking for them, for my family.

Please help us raise funds for Paul’s journey back to health.  Your donations and continued prayers and support mean so much to our family. Thank you!
