Help Parents With Cancer

My name is Alexandra and I am trying to raise funds for my partner's parents and their three boys who are going through some really hard times, emotionally and financially.
History:
In mid 2016, my father-in-law was diagnosed with stage 3 Bowel Cancer after having had a major heart attack only six months previously. There were complications during surgery which almost led to his death and required an extensive stay in hospital to recover not only from the operations, but from muscle atrophy and the severe weight loss he endured whilst in hospital.
Unfortunately, my mother-in-law has now discovered that she has several lumps in her neck with a very strong indicator for cancer and requires a total thyroidectomy to have her entire thyroid removed and biopsy to confirm the results. It has been strongly suggested that she has 2-3 weeks off work for the surgery and recovery alone before potentially starting chemotherapy which in itself is a long process. However, as she runs her own day care business she does not get paid sick leave or annual leave and thus has decided that she can only afford a single week off.
This means that there is a strong potential that in less than a month neither of them will have any income to support themselves or their three younger sons who are still at home. All of their savings were exhausted supporting the family whilst their dad was in hospital and they do not have the same options financially as they did before.
Why I am raising money:
I am working full time to support my partner through uni, who also has two jobs to help. As much as we want to help support my partner's parents, we are barely scraping by ourselves. I want to do what I can to help them, and this is the only thing I can think of to help ease their financial stress.
How will the money be used:
All money raised will go directly to the parents to help with getting by whilst they are both not working. This money will be used for bills, food, etc.
I wish I could offer something in return for money donated, but all I can offer is my sincere thanks in helping me to help the people I love.
