Baby York desperately needs your help

On 18th November, this wonderful baby boy near-drowned in a tragic accident at home. He was miraculously revived after having no heart beat for 18 minutes and he has been in the intensive care unit in a hospital in Bangkok ever since. To those of you like me also with young kids, this freak accident could have happened to any one of us and is frankly the stuff of nightmares.
The road ahead for York is very uncertain and there is a high chance of serious long-term complications as he continues his recovery - the next few weeks are crucial.
Nick and Jana have medical insurance through their job as teachers in an international school but this been maxed out already and hospital bills are continuing to pile up.
Nick and Jana have not asked for this campaign to be set up, however I ask for friends to come forward on this site with any cash contributions, no matter how large or small, to give them a helping hand they need in to cover these spiralling medical and rehabilitation costs.
I think I speak for all of us when I say this is a deeply upsetting incident that couldn't have happened to a nicer family. If you aren't in a position to contribute then I plead you to keep York, Nick, Jana and York's brother Rex in your thoughts and prayers.

This campaign has been set up by Charles Bagnall, Casey Au and James Wilson. All old school friends (from Leeds) of Nick, who is York’s father. The funds we are raising will be used to cover York’s hospital bills now their insurance coverage has been exceeded. The anticipated hospital bills are in excess £50000 which is our savings target. It is likely that the costs of York’s treatment will exceed this figure and we will adjust our targets if this is the case. Once withdrawn, the funds will be sent to Nick’s account in order to pay for the treatment.
