Help our blue baby Zane
Donation protected
Our much loved family pet escaped out of our garden saturday night. He was found by a gentleman in the middle of the road during the early hours of sunday morning. We are still unsure as to what actually happened to him as he had a wheelie bin next to him.
The gentleman took Zane to the PDSA. When we went to see Zane he couldn't move or even lift his head. The PDSA said they would to xrays etc. Monday morning we had a phone call to say that nothing had showed on the xrays and they advised us the best thing would be to put him to sleep. We went to see Zane and to our suprise he was more perky, lifting his head etc and trying to get to us. PDSA have limited funds and said there was nothing more they could do and he would need a MRI scan which would cost thousands. We had been in contact with the staffordshire bull terrier welfare and they said they would fund the MRI. Zane was moved to another vets on Tuesday and the MRI revealed he has a slipped disc. Zane will be operated on and will hopefully make a full recovery. We are trying to raise funds to put towards the charities donation or pay them some back. We will be forever greatful for their help and support. Without them Zane wouldn't be here.
