Help Our Wonderful Dog, Daisy

Meet our lovely 6 year old dog, Daisy.
Words cannot describe the joy she has brought to our family over the years. Daisy is the most loving dog you will ever meet. She is playful, energentic, cuddly, loving, caring .. basically everything you want in a dog. She feels like another member to our family. Daisy loves music. Being in a very musical family, she has always been around it, and never shies away when there are tunes playing in the basement. She is a loyal guard dog. She will always bark, no matter who is at the door, but once she makes eye contact with you, it's all love from her. There are SO many things we could say about Daisy.
Over the last few days, Daisy had been acting very strange around the house (not moving around, limping, not eating, always tired and down). After a while, things started to get more serious - not being able to control her bladder, and worse, blood mixed in with her pee. Once we saw this, we took her into the vet right away.
A great local vet, refered to us by a friend, has informed us that Daisy has something currently in her body that is killing off her red blood cells (which carry oxygen), and therefore she is having trouble breathing. This would explain the tiredness, limping, not eating, etc). Our vet has informed that if we don't take her to a specialist for a blood transfusion within the next 24 hours, Daisy will most likely pass away.
As we always have been, we are a family that just makes it by, in terms of income. While we were able to afford to send her to the vet today, paying a specialist $1500 a day for a minimum of 3 days to get this sorted out is something we simply can not afford.
Updates will be provided as the days go along. If we feel like a blood transfusion is something we will be able to pay for, we are going to do it, as we simply love this dog way too much to just let her go.
If it were not such a dire situation, we would never reach out like this, but we are asking for your help.
