Well we took our daughter to the emergency room on wed April 10th for a fever of 103.5..... we assumed since our 6 week old daughter just had the flu that this was the reason she had a fever and we just need some tamiflu AND to be sent home in an hour or two....
This is not what happened.... she got blood work. Chest xrays and flu swab.... flu swab was negative which blew my mind. The doc came in to the room to explain what they have seen... they saw very low hemoglobin and very low neutrophils (red and white) blood cells. They were concerned she may have leukemia and flew us to sac... if she didnt have a fever for two whole weeks and it being that high they probably wouldn't of sent us. But are glad they were taking the precaution...
Scarlett received more blood work and more tests during our stay at uc davis and they couldn't find anything wrong except a compromised immune system and a terrible bug. They released us 5 days later in Hope's she gets better on her own.
We now have a regular check up care plan we have to continue seeing the specialists in Sacramento and commuting back in forth is something we are going tooi have to do we are looking for any and all help so we can figure out what may or may nky be going on with our daughter.... thank you in advance...
Update: 5/16/2018_ she has leukemia. Now we r javing to go back and forth for treatments starting today so please keep us in your thoughts. And share share share this.... please
