Help for Ogie’s Cancer Treatment

Donation protected
On March 23, 2018, our uncle Rogelio Espiritu (Tito Ogie, 58 years old) was diagnosed with stage 4 Lung Cancer. Prior to that day, he has been complaining of severe back pain which the doctors have initially thought of tear ligaments and so he underwent numerous therapies but the pain did not lessen enough. Later on, the pulmonologist have confirmed and diagnosed that it is indeed Cancer. As the days go by, he has been losing his appetite and rarely does his daily routines. We have tried treating it the natural way by letting him take herbal medicines and monitor on what he has been eating; however, he does not seem to be getting any better. And then again, we consulted the doctor and he underwent several tests like PET scan and PDL. With this, it was suggested that chemotherapy will be the best approach. In preparation for this, and since he is getting weaker each day due to the severe pain brought by tumors, he's into pain management and currently undergoing radiation to make his body ready for the chemotherapy which will be the step to finally kill the cancer, hopefully.

I am one of his nieces and is one of the many people who have been so blessed with Tito Ogie's love and support. He stands as a second father to us, his nieces and nephews, during hard times. Food on our table, education support, medication when we’re sick, these are just few to mention. With all the love we have received from him, we wanted to give back. In this time of his battle, aside from love and moral support, financial assistance would be a great help. This is why, we are truly knocking to your kind and merciful hearts to please help us support his medical needs in any way you can as we really wanted him to live the life out of pain and to conquer this phase of his life. To all the prayer warriors and helping hands, thank you very much in advance for extending help and sharing your blessings to our family. We will truly appreciate this from the bottom of our hearts. Please continue to include our dearest Uncle Ogie in your prayers. We know for sure that God is on this overall situation and His ways are higher and beyond our comprehension. We will continue to trust in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. God bless us all.

Update as of today (18 Oct 2018):

Earlier today our dear Tito Ogie underwent blood transfusion as his blood level was really low. But even after the blood transfusion, his blood level is still extremely low so he was transferred to ICU. We know that our uncle still wants to live, he’s been in and out of the hospital for weeks now, but still fighting.

Our wish is to spend another Christmas with him. We are asking for continous prayers and financial assistance. All your help, support and prayers would be greatly appreciated.

God bless you all!
