Help Nichelle Heal From Surgery in Australia

Hi everyone!
My daughter Nichelle went through a full knee reconstruction surgery last year and developed many mental health and additional physical issues along the way. The healthcare system in the U.S. had an adverse effect with helping to fix some of the issues within her body and mind. Therefore, we sought help elsewhere and helped move her overseas to New Zealand. There, she was able to address many issues; mentally and physically with running and dance. If anyone knows Nichelle, she has a great big smile and enthusiasm for “living a rad ass life!” But her smile also hides many other elements from dealing with traumas from her injury last year such as: PTSD, an eating disorder brought on by her anxieties and stress, body dysmorphia, and two types of permanent nerve damage in ¼ of her surgical leg, along with muscle atrophy on her right side from the hip and down. After 6 months of recovery treatment, she could no longer flourish within that environment.
Nichelle continues to pay massive medical bills and student loans each month. Working is never enough for her to pay for her expenses. Especially, since she finished up her Master of Liberal Studies while dealing with recovery and working on other cultural projects simultaneously.
Let us help her continue her recovery as she travels to Australia before embarking on her PhD in Sociology when she feels entirely better.
Our family has been through a bit financially and are now trying to help raise money to get her to Australia to work, write about cultures, and continue her recovery holistically in a better environment. Donations will cover the costs of her having to show proof of enough funds to the Australian Government and airfare to leave the country before her visa expires. She has jumped through many hoops to receive her new Australian visa and has to use it by a certain date. Any amount donated will be of great help, and I know she will be so appreciative of everyone’s continued support as she works toward improving her health. We need to try to raise the funds by the end of August so that she may enter Australia in September.
