Help needed for Hit & run motorway dog
Donation protected
On Sunday 2nd December, I stopped on the Hard Shoulder of the TF1 just past the airport to help this young dog who had clearly fallen victim to a hit and run . He is such a sweet soul. I took him to the emergency vet who gave him some pain killers. He has no micro chip. We made him comfortable in our home over night. Back to the vet this morning for an x ray and unfortunately he has 3 fractures around his hip/pelvis area. Other than the fractures, the vet assures us that he is in good health and around 2 years old. In just 24hrs we have fallen 100% in love with this adorable pooch and we would be happy to offer him his forever home (providing no one claims him). However, to be quite blunt, we cannot magic 1500 euros out of thin air. We have covered emergency vet bills so far including x rays and medication and were more than happy to do so. Many people suggested that we set up a fundraising page to help with the surgery. So here it is. If you are able to help, then please accept our Thanks for you kind generosity. If you cannot donate, then thank you for sharing this page.
We have purposely not given this little fella a name yet, so for now he is known affectionately as "DOG"
