We are Asking for Your Help Natasha Launch Her First Product on Amazon to Help People with Disabilities Lead More Active Lives.

About Natasha and Why We are Asking for Your Help

In 2008 Natasha woke up to find she had lost vision from her right eye and within 2 weeks she had lost her vision entirely. Within the next six months she was paralysed from the waist down.  Natasha underwent harsh treatments which included chemotherapy to try to slow the progression of her condition and after 12 months she managed to regain some vision.

She was informed she has a rare condition called Neuromyelitis Optica which is an autoimmune disorder related to MS, otherwise known as Devic’s Disease. The condition causes attacks which damage the spinal cord and lead to accumulating disability.

However over the years since her initial diagnosis and with all the various treatments she has had to endure, Natasha has a number of other chronic illnesses to deal with as well, including Gastroparesis requiring a feeding tube, Type 1 Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis and more.

During another attack in 2012 Natasha spent 5 months as a quadriplegic and through tough medical treatments, physio and a lot of hard work, Natasha regained use of her arms.

Despite dealing with 5 other serious chronic illnesses on top of her Devic’s Disease, requiring a 7hr/day medication routine, Natasha has been working hard on building her strength and in the past 18 months has gone from being 99% bed bound to wheeling herself 15km+ a day and training to complete a marathon.

Throughout Natasha’s journey she has tried to help support others who have been diagnosed with similar conditions and is committed to helping encourage and inspire others in similar situations to live their best lives and continue reaching for their dreams.

Her 7hr/day medication routine combined with her disabilities makes it impossible for Natasha to work in a job and her condition is financially draining on her family, making it very hard to get started in launching her own business.

How You Can Help Make a Difference
Natasha’s goal is to be able to support herself financially whilst being able to help others with disabilities utilising her first hand knowledge and experience to design products to help others with disabilities to lead more active lifestyles.

An Amazon business is the perfect fit for Natasha to start a business that can help her reach her goals to support herself and make an impact on the lives of other people with disabilities.

Reliable Education is committed to giving back and helping provide opportunities for those less fortunate.  Natasha’s story inspired the team at Reliable Education and we have provided Natasha with a scholarship into the training program, but we want to go a step further and help Natasha raise the funds to help her launch her first product on Amazon.

We are asking for your help to donate towards helping Natasha fund her first product to launch on Amazon.

We are aiming to raise $15,000 to go towards the costs of product development and her first order of stock.

Any funds raised over this will be donated to the John Fawcett Foundation to help restore vision for people in need in Indonesia - http://johnfawcett.org/
