Help Nancy and Devlan recover Xmas Catastrophe

Donation protected
My name is Ceara and I’m Nancy’s daughter. For those who don’t know me or them, I live in Southern California and my mom Nancy , and my step Dad Devlan we’re living in Sedona Arizona.

About a year ago, My mom and Devlan purchased an RV and has been slowly but surely working on this RV as they had their heart set on doing the RV life. This RV was their world and heart. They minimized their house, sold everything they owned and today (Christmas day) was their first official day on the Road.

They were set to come to me for Christmas and after a few hiccups this past week and our family dealing w the loss of my Dad, Joe (his birthday was the 22nd) we have still been dealing w the loss of him not here w us for the holidays.

My mom and step dad making it to us in California meant the world to us. Sadly we got a frantic call this morning that jolted us into overload. My mom was sobbing saying the RV flipped. Devlan was stuck inside and she had no idea if he was okay. It was followed by random strangers talking in the background, my mom crying and I was convinced that my step dad had died.

I had just talked to my mom not even 3 hours earlier and my last convo with her was that if she couldn’t make it down, it was okay. That we had already lost our dad. The last thing we needed was something bad happening to them. But they were set on making it happen.

To get this call was the the most horrific thing anyone could get on Christmas morning. My kids hadn’t even opened Christmas gifts as we were trying to wait on them to arrive and celebrate together and Christmas has been put on hold.

They were able to get Devlan out of the RV and he is okay. The RV is being towed to Phoenix. Thank god for little blessings. My mom, Devlan. Their dog Ginger and cat Turbo all are okay. Turbo was in the RV and in a crate and went flying however he appears to be okay.

**my mom in her emotional state however forgot that their Turtle “Shelby” was in the RV. As of now. We have no idea if Shelby survived or not. We will keep you posted.**

Devlan told us the drivers side wheel got shaky, came off, Devlan tried to securely get the RV safe and the steering column broke causing the RV to fully flip.

Everything my mom and Devlan had worked so hard to build was totally lost. Their entire life. My grandparents ashes were in there and we assume are gone. Some of my dads ashes were in there. Those are prob gone as well as my moms mothers ashes. It’s truly devastating.

We arent sure the level of damage to personal belongings but they have resigned themselves to the fact that the RV is gone.

We have family meeting in Phoenix to try to help and make sure that they get to California securely but if you have it in your heart... any and all donations will help them so they can rebuild from the huge loss they’ve taken.

They literally lost their home and so Many personal belongings. And on Christmas to boot.

While we we are eternally grateful that everyone is okay, and safe.... everyone is so distraught as this is no way anyone should spend Christmas

Any and all help is so greatly appreciated this holiday. Our hearts are so heavy over this situation.

Merry Christmas. Thank you for any and all help you may be able to offer.
