“Please help my Mom with her brain surgery”

My mom was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor. She is a pretty private person but I feel like she needs some help right now. She has had pain/numbness in her jaw and face for about 8 years or so. She has been to multiple doctors to try and find answers with minimal success. The tumor showed up on scans back in 2010 but she was never told about it and only realized more recently when it started presenting as a lump on her head. She has had many medical expenses over the years that we have helped with but she is now facing surgery, a hospital stay, and time out of work with variables in between and unknowns of what treatments she will need post surgery. She will have surgery this Thursday 2/21/2019 and I am hoping to help them in a small way with this gofundme. We are not sure how the surgery will go, the tumor is intertwined with her facial nerve and there are some major risks for permanent numbness/pain/nerve damage. The doctors also are not certain that it is not cancerous, they did a biopsy but won’t know for sure until they get the tumor out. My mom has a huge heart, when she sees a need she steps in, she puts on Christmas for families in need, she’ll slip money to someone without them knowing or pay for a meal, she is the one to always say yes to helping even if she doesn’t know the person.
