RIP Ilene Klugman

Hello friends, My mother sadly passed away, very suddenly and in her sleep, on March 24th. She was 63 years old. She had dozens of surgeries over the course of her adults life, from intestinal operations to three shoulder replacements. She was days away from a back surgery before her death.  She left behind a legacy of love and devotion to her friends and family. A graduate of NYU Medical School, she was a radiologist. She was a graduate of Cornell University and valedictorian of her high school class at South Side High School in Rockville Centre. Prioritizing her never-ending care costs had, among other things, forced her and my father to put off other bills and debts. The cost of her funeral arrangements have done the same. In addition, with my mother gone, my father's income has been greatly reduced and he will have to move to a smaller home. Since he is looking to stay in Queens New York (in order to maintain his job), where the average rent is well over $2000, it will be difficult for him to afford a deposit on a new apartment on a single income without some help. Any help for my father in  relieving any of this combined financial stress would be greatly appreciated.
