Help My Family Move Cross-Country

Greetings!
My name is Roy and my wife's name is Betsy. We've been together since high school and married since 2014. We were both born and raised in New England and have been talking about moving cross-country for a long time. My wife is a freelance cartoonist seeking work in the animation industry and I'm a student working on my Creative Writing degree. We have four pets: A corgi, a chihuahua, a cat, and a rabbit and they complete our small family.
The reason why we're starting this campaign is because my family and I need to move across country to be closer to our career opportunities. From Maine it's next to impossible to find work in a studio setting and it's even harder to make connections in the animation industry when we're 3,000 miles away. Also, with Betsy working freelance, taxes are high and it makes saving for a big move incredibly difficult.
My opportunities as a writer are also limited, because many of the industry jobs I'm seeking are located outside the state of Maine.
Another reason why we intend to make this move (hopefully by late summer) is for our health. We both suffer in cold weather and I have a history of bronchitis. The cold weather makes it worse and it's getting worse every year. It's gotten to a point where doctors are advising me that moving to a warmer climate is in my best interest.
If the campaign is successful, the funds would be used for the storage POD service to get our furniture across country, getting ourselves across country (gas, lodging, food, emergencies, etc.), as well as getting established in a new home.
Any and all support will be greatly appreciated. This will open up new possibilities for us and give us the chance to seek out opportunities that are normally beyond our grasp. My wife will be able to find a job in the animation industry and we'll finally be able to start a real family.
