Help disabled mum achieve life goal

Verging on one hundred or so operations including a substantial blood transfusion, abdominal reconstruction and a full knee replacement  - my mother was the victim of a hit and run attack in 1999. Not only has she been left disabled, suffered brain damage and complete memory loss, she is also in continual daily pain and they never found the people responsible. I would like for them to be able to travel somewhere before they get too old, or my mother gets too ill, to be able to experience a holiday and relax somewhere beautiful. My mother cannot work and therefore my father cannot afford to save any money for their leisure. As you can imagine, this breaks my heart into pieces. 
Please help me surprise my mother with something that may light up her soul in amongst all of the pain, post-traumatic stress and darkness that she feels daily. Help me show my mother that she is not unheard and that people DO care and her sorrow does matter.  Not only has she still raised 2 children, but she NEVER complains. I would give her everything if I could... starting with this opportunity to see something new!
