Hi. This is Jim. He lost his battle with Emphysema on July 3rd, 2019. It was expected, however not so soon.
He was a good man who liked to keep to himself, and work hard to take care of his family. He took pride in everything he did, and it had to be done "right".
He was adoring of his grandchildren, and liked to joke with them. He was goofy at times, and the grandchildren loved him for that.
He was a stern, but great teacher as everything had to be done perfect. Attention to detail was his strong suit, and I, personally, am better at everything I do because of it.
He worked self employed and didn't have a retirement account besides Social Security, so that is the reason I am asking for money for my mother. She can not afford his final expenses.
If you can find it in your heart to donate whatever you can, we can get him out of the funeral home and back home where he wanted to be.
