Help Mike and Sharon Lier Rebuild

The recent flooding in NE and surrounding areas has left many lives forever changed, as is the case for Mike and Sharon Lier.
Mike and Sharon were advised Friday, 3/15, to evacuate their home in the Paradise Lakes community in Bellevue, NE. Thank goodness they had some time to grab a few irreplaceable items, such as some photos. They were able to leave with both vehicles, their precious pup, Annie, and of course each other. They had no idea this evacuation would turn into the nightmare it has, as flood waters Saturday, 3/16, were up to the windows of every home in the Paradise Lakes community.
The waters have continued to rise, and they haven't had a chance (and probably won't for quite some time) to check on the actual extent of damages, but there is no doubt that the home of Mike and Sharon will be a total loss... from the home itself, to everything that was left inside: furniture, clothing, personal items, etc.
This was Mike and Sharon's dream home, on a lake, where they planned to retire and enjoy everything lake-side living has to offer. No one plans for a flood to destroy everything you've worked your whole life for and nothing can prepare you for bouncing back after it happens.
Mike and Sharon are known for their friendly, outgoing nature. They are known for being the best friends anyone could ever have; in my case, the best in laws anyone could ever ask for. They are always willing to offer a helping hand or even to give financially when those they love are in need.
I have had MULTIPLE people ask me how they could help, and while we have no idea the extent of damages, I do believe financial contributions will absolutely help to ease the weight of this immense burden they will be bearing. Please consider giving what you can to Mike and Sharon, or at the least, sharing their story (and this campaign) with everyone who knows and loves them.
