HELP MERCY'S VET COST
Donation protected
On Wednesday I was driving home from base...I saw this small thing walking really slow.....something told me to turn the car around so I did ( she didn't look like a dog from the distance I was at) discovered this was a poor furbaby that was so emaciated and could hardly walk. I could feel every bone in her body. She was nothing but skin and bone. Infested with fleas galore. She came right up to me as if she was begging me to take her. I got her home and pulled all her ticks off and gave her a bath. The water was brownish red. I knew that was dirt and blood. She acted as if she had never been fed before. I wrapped her in warm towels and held her for a long while. She was so weak and fragile and I knew this was way out of my ability to help her. I called on the only person I knew who had the heart of an angel. Billy Jean Walker she is a doggie angle....I met her at the vet the next day. Mercy's gums were so white and her temp was only 96 to 97. Thay is very low for a dog. It should be 101 at least. She was to week to draw blood. This poor baby would not have made it much longer. I know her vet bills will not be cheap. I just hope we can all come together and save this sweet innocent life. She deserves to live a happy and loving environment. Let's help her get there please. Any money left over will go to furbabies in need of immediate care. All given to the wonderful center that is helping Mercy. She has already gone through a blood tranfusion and recieved all meds to help with fleas. All this adds up. Loving Paws is a non profit. It is donations alone. I just ask evem a 1.00. It goes a long way. Please find it in your heart to help. I named her Mercy because that is what she needed. Someone to have Mercy for her and help.....Thank you. Xoxo
