Help Me Transport a Friend to a Safe Home

Hello, I am Jessi Aurora, a non-binary plural transgender multi-cutie. A close friend of ours is in a lot of trouble, and needs help escaping her current place of residence.
She is transgender and is currently under the care of an abusive mother. She has asked to remain anonymous for the time being as she fears retaliation from said mother if her attempt to escape is made public.
Her mother has threatened to cut her off completely from the outside world, so it is crucial that we get her out of there as soon as possible.
She has been struggling with emotionally abusive parents her entire life and I want to get her to a safe place. She has been offered refuge at a friend's house, but getting her there will require crossing the entire country. I am currently between jobs, so I have the time necessary to make the cross-country journey, but my car needs some mild work and the trip will require hundreds of dollars in fuel.
My place of living is not well positioned for the trip, as it almost doubles the length of the journey, but I'm prepared to drive the 6,000 miles if it means my friend has a safe place to stay. We have currently raised $200 with the help of friends, but have been unable to find any more funding in our personal support network.
Please, if you have anything to give, contribute to help me get my friend to a safe home.
Even if we are unable to make the goal, any money raised will be saved in a special account for the sole purpose of enabling this trip as quickly as possible.
